It was a quick trip, giving us a taste of both Canada and Alaska.
The Canadian days were long and I am grateful that the travel was in a bus so the sensational views and scenery could help us while away the hours.

Our guide, Alex was also very mindful of breaking up the day with a few stops. Even if it was a Tim Hortons or Walmart or just a great view for a quick stop.

The crew are a nice bunch of people, all 44 of us! We all tend to keep pretty much to ourselves.

The cruise was great. The ship, although not really my cup of tea in regards to size etc ( 2000 people) was really nice.
Our rooms were lovely and plenty of room especially with the balcony, although a tad chilly to be outside.

We visited the towns of Hoonah, Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan. All quirky, small towns, but each had a little highlight.

Our arrival and disembarking back in Vancouver was seemless and we were putting our bags in luggage storage before 9.30am giving us the whole day to play.

We had a great day jumping on and off the big bus before departing for the airport late afternoon for our flight home.
I’ll just pop some photos of our last day here.

Canada and Alaska, you were fun but spending this time with family was the best bit.
